Ian is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#20600) who works with children, youth and adults who are struggling with the experience of disconnection. To help clients along the healing process, Ian draws from therapies that emphasize the importance of connection.

Try Again. Fail again. Fail better. – Samuel Beckett

Inspired by these simple words, Ian treasures the inherent uniqueness of all human beings, a uniqueness that deserves to be witnessed in all its beauty and the growing pains that come with its becoming. Ian strives to walk alongside individuals in their search for the apostrophe and the space that separates imperfect from I’m perfect.

These theories include Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Existential Analysis (EA), and Third-Wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapies.

Dane is currently completing his Masters in Counselling Psychology at Trinity Western University. He has experience working with children, teens, and adults with various presenting concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, identity development, and relationship issues.

Dane believes that each person is doing their best to respond to pressures from the past, present, and future, that currently weigh on them within life. He acknowledges that sometimes the ways individuals cope may need to shift throughout life and that through a process of reflection, connection, and understanding, clients can move into a space where they feel more empowered and able to respond to the opportunities around them. Through offering a safe space to process and learn, open to the breadth of experience which can be carried into the room, he hopes to walk with clients as they find relief from suffering and meaning within living.

Dane uses an integrative approach to therapy drawing heavily from the work of Existential-Analysis, Satir, and Internal Family Systems. He offers a client-centred, supportive approach to meet the client where they are at in their unique journey of life. Dane has received additional training for basic Neuroscience and the Satir in the Sand Tray (NSST) therapy. Through the combination of these models, he hopes to offer clients a space to find parts of their authentic self they can rely upon in their time beyond therapy.

Stephanie is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (#13020). She provides support for people experiencing stress and shame-related issues such as relational trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, religious trauma/deconstruction, self-acceptance/compassion, life transitions, compassion fatigue, and stress management. Stephanie also offers services in American Sign Language.

Stephanie’s deepest belief is that all people are worthy of love and belonging. She brings that sense of value to every client session. An avid reader, Stephanie has experienced personal growth from many of the books she has read. She brings this into therapy by sharing about some of the books that have been most impactful to her with her clients. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art. She then went on to receive her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, as well as certifications in Emotion Focused Individual Therapy and Emotion Focused Family Therapy.

Stephanie integrates some of the most relevant elements from several theories to meet each client where they are in their journey. She begins with building safety for vulnerability in each new counselling relationship, which includes validation and some grounding/relaxation practices. Her work is highly influenced by the research, writings, and lectures of Brene Brown on shame-resilience. Brown’s work embodies the belief that we are all human and, therefore, beautifully imperfect. That starting place is where humans can meet and see each other on our way to knowing we are worthy of love and connection—and therefore able to live with more growth, richness of life, and connection. Through these lenses, Stephanie helps clients build rewarding relationships with their emotions, both internally and in the context of the relationships around them.

In her spare time, Stephanie loves to listen to audio books, make art or craft projects, get outside, practice American Sign Language, and tend to her plants.
